Welcome!

Thank you for visiting the St. Clair Garden Club website. We are a garden club of approximately 60 members; made up of active, honorary, and sustaining members. Our purpose is to encourage interest and education in all phases of civic beauty, conservation of natural resources, home gardening, and horticultural education. Through our meetings and community projects we promote friendships with fellow gardeners, and share knowledge and excitement to create beautiful gardens throughout our city.

Nestled along the bluest river in the world lies St. Clair, Michigan. From our shoreline we can see Canada which shares one of the busiest international shipping lanes of the Great Lakes. St. Clair Garden Club members plant and maintain the flower beds nestled amongst the many sculptures on the river in Palmer Park and the brightly colored pots in the Plaza across the street.

St. Clair Garden Club meets the first Thursday of the month for light refreshments or lunch followed by a program from October through May. We try to balance horticulture and design topics in our programs.

This year we are hosting our Garden Walk, July 15th, 2023. Mark your calendars! For additional information see up-coming activities.

Garden clubs play a significant role in beautifying public areas and enhancing neighborhoods as they take on the challenges and reap the rewards of gardening in Michigan! Clubs also create life-long friendships with others in the community.

We welcome any guests who may want to become new members. If you have any questions or are interested in joining us, please click on the 'Contact Us' link in the above menu.
