St. Clair Farmers' Market 2025 Guidelines
The St. Clair Farmers’ Market is here to serve St. Clair by providing locally grown or made, fresh, high-quality produce and products, while providing an opportunity for local farmers and producers an economic outlet within St. Clair. The St. Clair Farmers’ Market further strives to enhance the quality of life for local residents by creating a social opportunity to gather, and to bring more foot traffic to the downtown – providing local merchants the opportunity to strengthen their businesses.
- The St. Clair Farmers’ Market (“Market”) will be held weekly on Wednesdays, from June 11 to October 22, 2025 from 7:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at the north end of Riverview Plaza.
- Vendors may begin setting up at 6:30 a.m. Vendors will be provided with parking in designated areas. Tear down must be completed by 1:00 p.m. Any vendor that wants a vehicle or trailer left in space during Market hours may do so at the discretion of the Market Representative.
- All vendors will complete the required vendor application that includes a hold harmless clause before participating in the Market. Vendors must provide this application to the St. Clair Garden Club before their on-site market activities begin.
- Vendors who wish to commit to vending for the entire season will pay an annual Market membership of $200 to support sustainability of the Market. This fee will cover weekly fees and guarantee permanent designated vending space.
- The St. Clair Farmers’ Market is a rain or shine market and will not be cancelled due to inclement weather.
- The Market Representative will work to keep a healthy balance of farm goods and value-added goods, including baked goods.
Weekly vending fees will be $15. The Market Representative will collect this money and turn it over to the St. Clair Garden Club for handling.
The rules for selling in the Market are as follows:
A. Vendors’ produce must be fresh and preferably grown, farmed, and harvested on their own lands.
B. Vendors’ retail offerings can be synergistic products, defined as: Baked, canned, bagged, bottled, or jarred items that enhance the Market’s offerings.
Craft or art items which are thematic with the Market and demonstrate fine craftsmanship can be included for sale by market vendors by approval of the St. Clair Garden Club.
